CPE
credits are measured in hours, so the number required is greater than the
number of credits that were required for Active Status. However, the actual
hours involved will not increase. Different ratings have different numbers
of hours required.
A
portion of extra CPE credits s earned one year may be carried forward to the
next year (see judging level for amount allowed for carry over).
Judging at least 3 meets a year is no longer required.
Practice judging is no longer required to test at a higher
level. However it is still allowed for miscellaneous CPE credits with
approval.
Judges
are required to keep their own records of CPE credits earned and submit
an annual report to the state coordinator. Judges are required to keep the original CPE
cards. Random checks will be made, and judges must be able to produce the
actual card from an event.
